Judd Apatow celebrated his 54th birthday in Los Angeles last December 7. Brad Pitt made a rare night out as he stopped by at the party, and photos of his attendance immediately made the headlines.

Several reports quickly surfaced, seemingly criticizing his looks and style during the birthday bash. An insider, later on, told Globe that the hunk celebrity is "letting himself go" following his loss in his and Angelina Jolie's custody battle.

As claimed, Pitt shocked the crowd when he showed up wearing a pair of "raggedy jeans" and a camouflage jacket, alongside a bucket hat. He reportedly turned himself into a "stinky, grungy slob," adding that he is literally "down in the dumps."

The insiders asserted, as well, that Brad Pitt wears the same baggy pants and shirt "for week on end without washing them." He no longer bothers to groom himself, and even ditches using a deodorant.

It is said that he has been this hippie, but things have gotten worse after Angelina Jolie scored a huge victory in their ongoing battle a few months ago. He, also, reportedly, stays in his art studio, wherein he chainsmokes and drinks coffee all night, on top of pigging out on junk food.

Informants continued that the "Ad Astra" actor can still "turn on the style" and clean himself up, especially if necessary. He, however, allegedly takes pride in "being grungy and foul" during his downtime.

Despite the accusations, Brad Pitt seemingly maintains his privacy and silence. He, alongside his representatives, has never confirmed or denied anything about the matter.

It is worth noting, however, that the assertions only came from anonymous sources. Apart from the lack of evidence, the publication did not provide any details to corroborate the story further.

Accordingly, it remains unclear whether the claims are fiction or not. It is a fact, though, that the "Troy" actor previously lost to Angelina Jolie in their most recent battle for the custody of their children.

In late October, the Supreme Court of California denied Pitt's appeal, causing the previous ruling to be upheld. The rejection of the actor's petition may likely force him and his former wife to "relitigate the custody of their kids," according to USA Today.

Brad Pitt is reportedly still "looking forward" to a better new year in 2022. While he lost in his most recent legal battle with Angelina Jolie, he had a successful and productive 2021 in terms of his professional career.

The Daily Mail even noted that the actor saw "massive professional triumphs" after completing the filming of his two upcoming movies. Nevertheless, sources claimed that he remains "low-key in general."
