Prince Harry and Meghan Markle refuse to return to the United Kingdom without their request for police protection. This has led some to call them "spoiled brats," according to Life & Style.

Speaking to the outlet, an insider asserted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "acting like" it, considering that not all full-time working royals have the same kind of security that they are demanding.

Despite the insistence to pay for it using their own money, the publication said it is against police policy. Even Queen Elizabeth II is said to have no control over the matter because the government has the last say about it.

As the disputes continue to develop, the British Monarch allegedly has worries that she might never see her great-grandchildren from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The same informants added that she is even willing to pay "out of pocket" to provide protection to the Sussex Royals.

Following the accusations, though, there is no evidence that has come to light to support the claims about Queen Elizabeth II. But, in the case of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the royal-born Prince's legal rep previously released an official statement to clarify the issue.

As noted, the former working royals, alongside their two children, are "unable" to fly back to the United Kingdom. The absence of the necessary police protection is what their camp is saying as the reason behind it.

MailOnline previously released a report and revealed matters relating to the British Royals' security. As pointed out, not all members of the family, even working royals, get full protection, which Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were asking at the time.

Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex do not have 24/7 security. This is despite them doing hundreds of engagements per year for the British Monarchy.

The royals who have this kind of police protection are Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. The rest of the senior working royals only obtain the same level of security when on official engagements.

Meanwhile, royal experts are seemingly branding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as brats, as well. Ingrid Seward recently told the Mirror that Queen Elizabeth II may even "alienate" them if they continue to behave like "spoiled children, trying to get their own way."

She consequently asserted that the move the Duke of Sussex has made "will not sit kindly" with the British Monarch. "It will make her annoyed and very irritated."

The expert continued that the Queen does not like threats. Although the threat is not directed at her, it "comes under her jurisdiction."
