Kate Middleton has a lot of love languages, and food is reportedly one of them. A source recently revealed that this is why she prefers home-cooked meals because she gets to be with her husband and their kids.

Speaking to OK! magazine, the insider shared that cooking is one of the Duchess of Cambridge's biggest passions. She likes to cook for herself and for her family as they usually become a "big bonding activity" for them.

It is, also, stated that everyone in their household "loves to pitch in" when the future Queen Consort makes her signature dish.

This all comes as Kate Middleton allegedly faces new pressure these days. As reported, her birthday portraits received criticisms from some individuals, saying that she is "too thin" as if she does not eat.

The insider referenced the Duchess of Cambridge's love for food and cooking in an effort to argue that she is healthy. As asserted, the alleged "hurtful remarks" have hit a nerve on her because food is one of the things she and her family enjoy together.

Whatever the case, though, it remains uncertain whether the allegations are legitimate. The latest story did not come with any evidence to substantiate the story.

Meanwhile, the claims about the Cambridge Royals, making a bond out of home-cooked meals, are potentially true. Matthew Kleiner-Mann, who had an opportunity to speak with Kate Middleton in the past, revealed that she opened to him about her and her family's cooking habits, according to Express UK.

As recalled, pasta is a "regular cooking feature" in the Cambridge household. She reportedly shared with the insider that her children even have their respective jobs and tasks in the process.

Kleiner-Mann mentioned cheesy pasta, adding that the royals made it days prior to their engagement. He said the children did the stirring of the flour, as well as the adding of the milk and butter to the dish.

In other related news, Prince William once told a joke about his wife's cooking. This happened when Kate Middleton revealed that her husband would be happy to get a break from the food she serves during a fancy date night in 2016, according to Cheat Sheet.

She explained that the future King has to "put up" with all of her cooking most of the time. The royal-born Prince, then, quipped that his wife's cooking is the reason why he is "so skinny."
