In his more than a decade relationship and six-year marriage to Anna Marie Tendler, they never had children, with him saying that they had zero plans, adding that he would not want to change their status.
But, things changed in 2021 after leaving his rehab stint in February. He ended his marriage and started a new one with the "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress in May.
They confirmed their pregnancy in September and welcomed their son in November.
An insider spoke to the outlet and asserted that these things were not John Mulaney's plans. Anna Marie was allegedly "blind-sided," and the relationship with Olivia Munn never had a "solid foundation."
The now-parents of one are said to have gotten together when the comedian was at his "low point." Moreover, things between them "progressed when he was at his most vulnerable" state.
The same informant continued that Olivia Munn knows that people think of her as a "homewrecker." Although she slammed the claims, referring to it as a "false narrative," she did not elaborate on the details of what happened between her and John Mulaney.
In the end, the actress allegedly wants everyone to see her and her partner as "madly-in-love new parents." However, the source believes that "there is a lot more here than meets the eye."

The then-pair wedded in New York, with Dan Levy officiating the ceremony. Among those in attendance were Nick Kroll, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers.
In December 2020, reports said that the "Big Mouth" voice actor sought treatment for alcoholism, as well as cocaine addiction, after 15 years of sobriety. He completed the program in February 2021 and confirmed his split to Tendler in May of the same year.

The actress even showed her support to the comedian after learning about his rehab stint. On social media, she sent her "love and support" to Mulaney.
In September, the "Saturday Night Live" writer revealed that he met and started to date Munn during the spring season. In the same interview, he announced that they were expecting their first child together.
