"Hopelessly henpecked" is what tabloids are calling Ben Affleck these days. He reportedly has fears that he might lose Jennifer Lopez, causing him to follow her lead.
A source spilled the details to Globe for its new magazine issue. As alleged, the celebrity couple follows a relationship theme, wherein the DCEU actor is "getting the second chance" and not the "Marry Me" actress.
Lopez has reportedly pushed Affleck into a "lifestyle makeover," adding that she leads her partner around by the nose. She "runs the show and even schedules their days."
Despite this, though, Ben Affleck is said to follow the "bossy" Jennifer Lopez's lead. He is "terrified" that he will lose her partner, so he has been on his best behavior.
The insider continued that the actor no longer drinks, and "he has whipped himself into his best shape in years." There is "so much excitement and goodwill" around their relationship, and that is why he "cannot afford to go off the trails."
Following the allegations, though, the informant did not release any evidence to prove the legitimacy of the story. It is unclear where or how the information was obtained.
Therefore, the latest claims about the two celebrities, as well as their rekindled relationship, remain speculative and questionable.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about her romance with Ben Affleck, saying that she has "never been better." CNN said that she credits part of her happiness these days to her reunion with the "Batman" actor.
Speaking to People, the "On The Floor" singer revealed that she is "so lucky" and "proud" to be with her boyfriend. She even deemed their second chance a "beautiful love story."
Lopez and Affleck got engaged in 2002 after meeting a year earlier. But, they called off their wedding and eventually decided to separate.
In the same engagement, the "Hustlers" actress said they are more protective of their romance this time than in the past.
"We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives,... We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us."
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck went on to marry their then respective partners after they split in 2004. But, reports said that they remained in communication over the years.
In April 2021, witnesses spotted the two celebrities hanging out again. Even so, sources at the time insisted that they are friends, and their link is "platonic," according to Harper's Bazaar.
It was only, then, a month later that many became certain about the pair's rekindled romance.
