Fans will once again see Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke continue their fight against the demons in "Demon Slayer" Season 3. As a new arc begins, Swordsmith Village arc, new characters are about to come.
Although some will be familiar, "Demon Slayer" Season 3 will introduce new faces that will be part of the story. From the villains to the Hashiras, meet these five characters who will make their way to the new season.
Hantengu
A list made by Sports Keeda noted a new antagonist would be introduced in the third season and it would be Hantengu. He is just one of the main villains of the Swordsmith Village arc and an Upper Moon 4 demon.
He has unveiled a number of impressive abilities in the manga and may do the same in the anime. He will be facing Mitsuri, Tanjiro, Genya and Nezuko in the new season.
Gyokko
Another antagonist who will be part of the new season is Gyokko. He is an Upper Moon 5 demon that will go against Muichiro Tokito.
He can teleport to different pots around him, while his Blood Demon Art lets him undergo a transformation that enhances his power. With his abilities, it will be a must-see to witness him fight.
Genya Shinazugawa
Fans may find Genya familiar after being part of the Final Selection of the first season. However, no details about this character have been known and fans may learn more about him in "Demon Slayer" Season 3.
His powers and abilities will finally be revealed as he faces Hantengu with Tanjiro, Nezuko and Mitsuri. There are even claims that he is a sibling of one of the Hashiras.
Mitsuri Kanroji
Talking about the Hashiras, Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji will be part of the third season. Sure, she has been seen in the first season, but her abilities are yet to be revealed.
So in the new arc, she will be properly introduced, showing her backstory, powers and abilities. She will be a major part of the new season as she will help Tanjiro and the gang fight Hantengu.
Muichiro Tokito
Muichiro in the Mist Hashira and the new arc will mostly focus on him and his fight against Gyokko. He is one of the most talented swordsmen in the organization and his power will give a glimpse of how powerful the Hashiras are.
Meanwhile, the coming of "Demon Slayer" Season 3 was already confirmed a day after the second season ended, per Rappler. A 40-second teaser was dropped and it hinted at the adaptation of the Swordsmith Village arc.
Forbes revealed it would cover about 25 chapters, which might be around 10 to 12 episodes. Here, Tanjiro would begin a new journey to the Swordsmith Village to get another weapon.
Anyhow, there are no words yet on when "Demon Slayer" Season 3 will be out.
