It looks like BLACKPINK is now gearing up for their much-awaited comeback. Jeon So Mi seems to have leaked Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa's alleged new song, while another new project is about to come.
BLACKPINK would be releasing a textbook to help netizens learn the Korean language, called "BLACKPINK in Your Korean." Though many celebrate with the news, some are left confused because it is a collaboration with HYBE.
HYBE is known as the home to BTS, TXT and ENHYPEN. The package contains two learning books, a pocketbook and other items.
Its packaging perfectly fits the group's aesthetic, which will add to the fans' collection. However, fans find it questionable that the branding at the bottom of each product has the words HYBE x YG Entertainment and is embedded on all the items.
Koreaboo noted that even though it looks odd, it is only fitting because HYBE has created some projects like this before. For starters, BTS also has the same textbook, called "Talk! With BTS," "Learn! Korean with BTS" and "Learn! Korean with TinyTan."
Like the BLACKPINK textbook, these are also created to help netizens learn Korean by collaborating with K-Pop stars to make it more interesting. Though this is a good idea for fans to know their idols' language, some still complained about their lack of new projects relating to their comeback.
However, it looks like the long wait will be over soon. During Jeon So Mo's Instagram live session on Wednesday, March 2, she seemed to have leaked Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa's new song.
Are they now working on their return? The soloist talked to her fans through a live broadcast and walked around The Black Label studio when something unexpected happened.
When she opened the door to a studio, someone was inside working on a song. The loud music blasted through and unintentionally revealed a part of the music that was never heard before, per AllKpop.
Netizens quickly recognized the voice they heard from the audio and many believed it was BLACKPINK. Jeon So Mi looked nervous when the incident happened, which some assumed as a subtle confirmation that the song she accidentally leaked was from the girl group.
To recall, it is already confirmed that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa are about to make their much-awaited comeback this year, so fans are now up for a waiting game as they patiently stand by to see when it will happen.
