The fight between Pete Davidson and Kanye West over Kim Kardashian continues and it looks like the latter has gotten an unlikely ally. The "Saturday Night Live" star's former girlfriend, Cazzie David, seems to subtly show her support to the rapper, who keeps posting his tirades against the comedian.

Cazzie David liked the post Kanye West shared about Pete Davidson on social media. So, is the 27-year-old star taking the side of Kim Kardashian's former husband?

The post in question was that of the 28-year-old actor's friend, Dave Sirus, In Touch Weekly noted. It showed the actor holding a microphone and wearing a black shirt and baseball cap with a white mesh bag over his face.

The fashion mogul shared the photo and captioned it with a "goodbye" hand emoji. Though no one knew what it meant, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that Larry David's daughter liked the post, thinking she was supporting the record producer.

Cazzie David and Pete Davidson dated from 2016 to 2018 before the latter got into a relationship with Ariana Grande. The "Eighty-Sixed" star herself detailed the cause of their breakup in her memoir, "No-One Asked for This," revealing he dumped her over text.

She added she "shook uncontrollably" at the time and even "screamed in agony" when her ex-boyfriend covered up all his tattoos of her and moved on with the 28-year-old pop singer. However, they eventually worked out their differences and said they were friends again in 2020.

Moreover, Sirus also shared the alleged text messages between Ye and "The King of Staten Island" star on Instagram on the same day. By the looks of it, Pete Davidson called Kanye West an "internet b-h boy" after he, allegedly, refused to talk to him in person.

The "City of Gods" singer's responded with, "Oh, you using profanity," and asked what he was doing at the time. "The Suicide Squad" star's alleged answer was "in bed" with his wife and shared a shirtless photo of him while lying down on the bed.

Meanwhile, amid everything Kanye West is doing, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have, reportedly, reached their "breaking point," per Us Weekly. The couple seems to have no plans to back down and the "Big Time Adolescence" star himself already stepped in and defended his girlfriend over her ex-husband's scrutiny.

He wanted to take things privately and hold a one-on-one talk with Kanye West. In the text, he told the "Flashing Lights" hitmaker Kim Kardashian is the best mother he has ever met and he is so lucky that she is the mom of his kids.
