"Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" Season 3 is about to come and it promises more romantic exchanges between Kaguya and Miyuki. So, will they finally confess their feeling for each other this time?
It has been nearly two years since fans last saw Kaguya and Miyuki on the small screen. Now that they are about to return in "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" Season 3, what can fans expect this time?
The anime is about to make its big comeback. Of course, all eyes are on the series' top students, especially Kaguya and Miyuki.
As these two are still yet to admit their love for one another, will fans see them in a romantic relationship soon? The first season debuted in January 2019 under A-1 Pictures.
The second season was then out in April 2020, followed by an OVA last year. Now, Comicbook noted fans are preparing for the third season's release, which will be on April 8.
It will be first out in Japan and simulcast in the U.S. through Crunchyroll. Kaguya and Miyuki's story started in a manga by Aka Akasaka, published by Shueisha.
The manga is still ongoing, so the anime still has more source material for continuing. This just means a fourth season may come when the "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" Season 3 ends.
However, it may only happen when its ratings continue to keep up. As the first and second seasons are both big hits, there is a high expectation for the upcoming new season.
It will reportedly challenge Kaguya and Miyuki in a lot of ways compared to the previous seasons. It will be officially titled "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War - Ultra Romantic," hinting at more romantic scenes between the fan-favorites Kaguya and Miyuki.
Crunchyroll has unveiled the new season's official synopsis and it begins with the Shuchiin Academy, an elite school where most gifted students go to. It is the same place where Kaguya and Miyuki serve as the student councils.
Contrary to everyone's expectations that there will be courting between the two and they will be a perfect couple, they are too proud to confess their true feelings for each other. "By what means shall I make other confess?" the plotline asks.
By the looks of it, they are both fully committed to devising a "highly cerebral strategy" in this cunning war of love. So, will they take their love to another level on the final day of Shuchiin Academy's cultural festival?
"Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" Season 3 will premiere today at 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
