A report claimed investors started selling out their YG Entertainment stock after rumors emerged Big Bang would disband after the release of their comeback song, "Still Life." The news came after T.O.P bid his goodbye in a post and the music video that alluded to their separation.

Ever since the talks about Big Bang's disbandment began, many online community posts analyzed the clues that seemed to hint at the group's end. However, YG finally broke its silence about it and revealed the truth behind the assumptions.

AllKpop noted the label's stock was trading at about 45,300 KRW or $37 per share last January. But after the news of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang and Daesung's return, it rose to 71,000 KRW or $58 per share in April.

However, after the release of their comeback, it surprisingly decreased to 62,300 KRW or $51 per share. So to avoid it from continuously dropping, the company cleared it's not yet the end for the legendary boy band.

In fact, it's only the beginning and their new song is now experiencing incredible success, thanks to the group's "musical capabilities." Their abilities were "evaluated as an artist group with a wide range of popularity and original artistry that encompasses all generations."

The company even stressed that Taeyang's part of the song, singing about the dream of the spring midsummer night's when the flowers bloom at sunset the following year and the mention of the seasons of in a year meant Big Bang "would be eternal" just like the seasons.

It added the settings of Daesung, G-Dragon and T.O.P's scenes in the music video in a lonely mansion, an empty street and a deserted snowy planet, insinuating the past, present and future. It just showed that the four-season theme of "Still Life" is not the end but only a new beginning.

YG continued to elaborate that the symbol of spring, Taeyang, who was seen in the opening of the music video and appeared in the ending, signified a new start.

Meanwhile, T.O.P's farewell post on Instagram fuelled the speculations that Big Bang would be disbanded, per Korea Joong Ang Daily. The letter came after the group dropped their comeback single-a first after four years.

He said he wouldn't be here without the help of YG's staff. He thanked the company for the past 16 years and admitted it meant a lot to him.

He then revealed he might be going through another important turning point in his life, hinting at his departure from the group and starting a new beginning. T.O.P added he looked forward to the day when he would return as the man of inspiration in the near future.
