Fans may never get to see the continuation of Guts, Casca and Griffith's story after the manga's creator, Kentaro Miura, untimely passed. However, one artist-fan tries to create a new tale that will continue "Berserk" Chapter 365, attempting to predict what may have happened.

The series ended in "Berserk" Chapter 364 before Miura's unexpected demise in May 2021. With the dark series' publisher, Young Animal, yet to announce the manga's future, the said fan took the matter into his own hands.

Miura's death greatly affected the anime and manga community. He started the Japanese manga series in the 1980s and spent decades telling the story of Guts and the Band of the Hawk.

This group featured a world where "death, betrayal and terrifying supernatural characters" were just the norm. Guts made significant progress in leaving his quest for revenge against Griffith behind over the last few chapters.

He managed to restore Casca's mind and formed a motley crew to back him up. As Griffith created a new band of the hawk to unite humans and demonic apostles alike, what happens next in "Berserk" Chapter 365 may never be told.

However, it is expected to explore "some murky territory," per Comicbook. From here, Twitter artist Theo Phiasco entered the scene.

He imagined what might have happened after Chapter 364 and the revelation that the Moonlight Boy had a portion of Griffith in him while Guts and Casca dealt with this issue and their feelings for one another.

Until today, the future of the series remains uncertain. No new manga chapters are announced or a new anime adaptation is in the cards.

Despite that, it can't be denied that the series is a timeless classic that is loved among anime and manga fans worldwide. So, a lot is waiting for what may happen next to Miura's legacy.

Meanwhile, U.S. readers will finally see the end of the manga's story after the final installment, Volume 41, which Miura managed to finish before he passed, would be out in November, per Polygon.

In the summary that Dark Horse, the U.S. publisher, revealed, Casca would find it hard to escape the reminders of the terrors she had experienced, though she had escaped the prison in her mind.

These memories are triggered by Guts the Black Swordsman, who went through the same horrors in his quest to see Casca healed. However, there are questions if the strange, mute boy's reappearance will be the key to bringing peace to Casca's troubled soul.

"Berserk" Volume 41 will be out in comic shops on Nov. 9 and bookstores on Nov. 22. There are no words yet on the future of "Berserk" Chapter 365.
