Ufotable drops a new "Demon Slayer" Season 3 image that hypes up the series more. As many are now looking forward to seeing what the new season has to offer this time, the studio gives a good look at the next villain.

Upper Moon fans will surely celebrate the new "Demon Slayer" Season 3 teaser. The show's animators give a glimpse of Doma, a powerful Demon under Muzan Kibutsuii.

From Upper Rank Six, Doma is now Upper Rank Two and is part of the Twelve Kizuki. He possesses incredible powers and abilities that will surely give Tanjiro and the rest of the gang a hard time.

The image, as obtained by Comicbook, shows Doma against a snowy night sky. He looks every inch terrifying as the dark enhances his bloody features.

His lips are oozing with blood, which also covers his hands and clothes. He seems to be holding a leg that may be from his victim.

The anime's second season ended with a major cliffhanger featuring Doma, who fans will see more of in "Demon Slayer" Season 3. However, he's not the only Upper Moon sticking around the new season.

There are assumptions that an important meeting of Muzan's top officers will be held. After Gyutaro's defeat, Doma will join this assembly as an Upper Rank Two.

Meanwhile, the new season's plot will feature the manga's ninth arc, the Swordsmith Village arc, per Digital Spy. It will continue the events after the Entertainment District arc, which ended with Tanjiro and Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui defeating the demon siblings Gyutaro and Daki.

Fortunately, the only casualty of their fight is Tanjiro's demon-slaying sword. So in the new season, the protagonist will travel to the Swordsmith Village to ask Hotaru Haganezuka to repair his blade.

There, he and his friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke, along with his sister, Nezuko, will encounter a lot of demons, including an Upper Rank Six that can split his body across different bodies. Luckily, they will get the help of Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito.

Ufotable and Crunchyroll already dropped the first trailer for the new season in April. Though it mostly featured some important events from the previous two seasons, it revealed the coming of the Mist and Love Hashiras to help Tanjiro and company.

The two hashiras will play major roles in "Demon Slayer" Season 3, which may drop in 2023.
