The droughtlander has again begun, but people behind the much-awaited "Outlander" Season 7 give an important update. Fans are about to see new faces in the upcoming season after Izzy Meikle-Small and Joey Phillips join the show's cast members.

The two will join the Fraser family as they play the roles of Dr. Denzell and Rachel Hunter siblings. So, what will they bring to the table in "Outlander" Season 7?

Readers of Diana Gabaldon's series, where the show is based, know the Hunters as the two siblings who will eventually enter the lives of Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan) and the rest of the Fraser family.

They will meet Young Ian (John Bell) and William, who is badly injured and sick, TVLine noted. He needs immediate medical attention and luckily, Denzell is a doctor.

Though the Hunter siblings are Quakers, Denzell is ready to support the cause of liberty and join the Revolutionary Army as a physician. As seen in book seven, "An Echo in the Bone," where Denzell and Hunter first appear, the latter will enchant both William and Ian with her independent spirit and subtle beauty.

Talking about Meikle-Small and Phillips' coming to "Outlander" Season 7, Matthew B. Roberts, the show's showrunner, writer and executive producer, told Deadline they were excited to welcome the two to the growing family of the series. "Can't wait for fans to see how these two fantastic actors bring Rachel and Denzell to life," he said.

The show also cast Charles Vandervaart to play the role of Jamie's adult son, William Ransom, per TVFanatic. He's the ninth Earl of Ellesmere and is raised by his stepfather Lord John Grey (David Berry).

He's one of the highly anticipated characters in the book who will join the series. In the upcoming season, he will be seen in Wilmington with a lot of patriotic zeal and eagerness to join the British Army.

He aims to put an end to the growing tension in the American Colonies. With his coming, Roberts said everyone was happy to welcome Vandervaart to the show.

"Outlander" Season 7 will continuously film in Scotland, where the Frasers and MacKenzies try to build home against the backdrop of the Revolutionary War. Alternatively, executive producer Maril Davis teased that the new season would feature more adventure, time travel and emotional peril compared to its predecessors.

She also talked about Vandervaart's coming to the series, saying the actor's charisma was evidently seen during the audition process. So, everyone's excited about how he will give justice to William's character.

"Outlander" Season 7 is expected to be out later this year or early 2023.
