It will take a while before fans finally see what will happen next in "Boruto" Chapter 72. The manga is on a month-long hiatus, but when it returns, expect another intense turn of events with Eida and Amado.
These two may be the main focus of "Boruto" Chapter 72. So, what will they be up to in the next chapter?
SportsKeeda noted Eida and Amado would be visiting Konohagakure, knowing Code is hatching a plan to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village. But knowing Eida has the ability to see everything, she may see Code's plan.
With that said, how can Code carry out his plans knowing Eida is watching him? Can he destroy the village and everyone close to Kawaki?
By the looks of it, Eida may try to stop him, though it remains to be seen what will happen next in "Boruto" Chapter 72.
In "Boruto" Chapter 71, Amado removed Code's limiters after fearing for his life. However, things became more complicated after Eida and Code had a disagreement.
Code was about to kill Amado, but the latter had a talk with Eida that ended up saving him. Code believed Amado's move to talk to Eida was a desperate move.
Eida didn't let Code kill Amado as he was talking about Kawaki. Code's persistence enraged Eida, so she called Daemon, who quickly intervened.
Daemon and Code fought, leaving the latter overwhelmed. Code was hurt after trying to attack Demon with the intent to kill him.
This surprised everyone, seeing Code's plan to kill Daemon reflected on him. As Daemon had recognized his ability to reflect lies in his palms, Code had learned this move, too.
However, there was nothing much he could do as he was already losing the fight. Daemon revealed that Code was stronger than Jigen, but he was tougher than him.
This forced Code to flee and Eida told him she wouldn't go after him. She had the Senrigan that let her see everything.
She even warned him that she could kill him if she wanted to, so she asked him not to get in her way. Code then told her about his mission to cultivate the Divine Tree and eat its Chakra Fruit to become a new Otsutsuki.
From there, Amado revealed he had access to an emergency shutdown code installed inside Kawaki.
Meanwhile, Twitter user Abdul Zoldyck revealed, via Devdiscourse, that the manga would take a hiatus for a month after the release of Chapter 71 on June 20. It would resume its publication in the October issue of VJump that would drop on August 20, along with "Boruto" Chapter 72.
