Rumors about G-Dragon and Baz Luhrmann's collaboration for a mysterious "Elvis" project are getting pretty intense. The Big Bang member once again posted photos related to the King of Rock 'n' Roll himself, Elvis Presley, on Instagram on Tuesday, July 12, and even used the hashtag #ELVIS2022.

So, what does it mean? Though G-Dragon is yet to reveal the real deal behind the photos, the collaboration rumors are even heightened by his Elvis Presley poses.

The King of K-pop seems to imitate the master showman in his Elvis Presley-concept snaps. He even donned a white shirt with the late music icon's face and a belt with the legendary pop singer's image.

In a close-up shot, he showed he copied the cultural figure's signature hairstyle, called pompadour. Many believe his post hinted at a collaboration with the "Elvis" movie director Luhrmann and it might be out on July 13, AllKpop noted.

The Australian filmmaker announced a "surprise coming soon" after replying to G-Dragon's post. "GD (G-Dragon) + EP (Elvis Presley) = TCB," he wrote. TBC stands for "Taking Care of Business," which is also Presley's band name.

The K-pop idol himself tagged Luhrmann, the "Elvis" film's account and his own personal team who worked on his photoshoots in the post.

Rumors about the collaboration began when G-Dragon surprisingly posted an unexpected photo with Luhrmann last week on Instagram. At the time, they were even with BLACKPINK's Lisa. Luhrmann has been traveling to promote "Elvis" and he's recently in South Korea, per Koreaboo.

While in the country, he seemed to have met up with some of the K-pop world's biggest stars. Though it might be only random that he was with G-Dragon and Lisa, he reportedly had a connection with Big Bang and BLACKPINK.

He recently interviewed Rose after the latter was featured in Vogue Australia's June 2022 edition, for which he also worked as a guest editor. He also met G-Dragon at a Chanel fashion show in Paris in 2014.

The two got reunited, as seen in G-Dragon's story. They were lounging on a couch together and the South Korean fashion designer played with their image after sticking stickers on the photo.

Though the picture had no context, it seemed to imply a musical collaboration after Luhrmamann said he wanted to release a cover of Presley's famous song "Can't Help Falling In Love." After that, G-Dragon posted the song's cover art on his Instagram as an actual post and on his story.
