The previous chapter saw a teacher bringing a Chicken Devil named Bucky into the class. She told the students they had to eat the chicken in the next three months.
Until then, it had to live and grow around them. However, the class started to be friends with the pet as the days passed, except for Mitaka.
She never joined the class. Mr. Tanaka approached Mitaka one day and told her Bucky would never be killed and he was only trying to teach the students a lesson.
From there, she started to join the class and played with Bucky. However, she tripped on the pet, resulting in death.
Everyone started looking suspiciously at Mitaka. They were also talking about her behind her back. Everyone in the school hated her.
