Another set of "One Piece" Chapter 1054 spoilers have dropped and the introduction of a new character seems to prove a theory that has changed over the years. Kurouma will join the series as the head of the Marines' investigation unit, making the Zodiac theory alive again.
Kurouma's name translates to "black horse" in English. So, what does it have to do in "One Piece" Chapter 1054?
SportsKeeda noted that the introduction of Kurouma and Ryokugyu in the series makes fans apply the zodiac theory to the Marine Admiral Chain of Command. This theory claims the Straw Hats will end up with 13 members; each is likened to a Chinese Zodiac sign.
There are only 12 signs on the traditional Chinese Zodia, but a cat is considered the informal 13th sign. With that said, this "One Piece" theory takes the cat into account.
The theory is based on the color spread of the manga's Chapter 651, where each Straw Hat member was placed next to an animal from the Chinese Zodiac. Eiichiro Oda linked the group to specific signs to support the claim.
Chopper was paired with the rat, Franky with the bull, Zoro with the tiger, Usopp with the snake and Brook with the horse. In addition, Sanji was linked to the goat, Luffy with the monkey, Robin with the rooster, Jinbe with the boar and Nami with the cat.
As Yamato had just joined the crew, the theory seemed to know she would join the group and paired her with the dog. So, who would be linked to the rabbit and dragon signs?
Carrot may join the crew and be linked to the rabbit sign. While many believe Momo fits the dragon sign, his stay Wano can't make that happen. So, the most likely candidate is Vivi Nefertari, considering the latest "One Piece" Chapter 1054 details and her being a descendant of Celestial Dragons.
Meanwhile, the next chapter will be titled "Emperor of Flames," per Otaku's Notes. It will mostly focus on Sabo, revealing the King of Arabasta, Nefratari Cobra, is dead and he's behind the killing.
Yamato will hit Ryokugyu, who possesses the Forest-Forest Logia devil fruit, and she and the Scabbards will stop him from entering the Flower Capital. Momo will arrive and stop the fight.
Shanks will be seen on the Wano shores, inviting everyone to find the One Piece, but they want to finish Bartolomeo first, knowing he burned the Red Hair's flag in the Dressrosa arc. Sabo and the Revolutionaries help Kuma.
Monkey D. Dragon is on his way to an island with his own fleet. Sabo is then named the Emperor of the Flames.
The chapter will end with Akainu and Kizaru talking to Vice Admiral Kurouma, the navy investigation unit's head. Finally, "One Piece" Chapter 1054 will be out on Monday, July 25.
