ENA's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" continuously dominates the small screen with its different kind of storyline lauded by many. However, before Park Eun Bin accepted the role of Woo Young Woo, she admitted she was a little hesitant.
Park Eun Bin took a year before she finally decided to accept "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and played the role of a lawyer with an autism spectrum disorder. Although she didn't doubt the project's unique tale, she wasn't confident she could give justice to Woo Young Woo's role.
In an interview as she graced the cover of Allure Korea, via AllKpop, the 29-year-old star revealed she was offered this role at the same time as "The King's Affection." She knew it was a good project, but she doubted herself.
She was afraid and not sure if she would do well, fearing she might hurt others' feelings. So, she "contemplated for a while and rejected the role a few times."
Thankfully, the director, Yoo In Sik, and writer, Moon Ji Won, said they would wait for her. With the trust they showed, Park Eun Bin finally wanted to give it back to them and took all the courage she had to do "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
She started to film the ENA series after "The King's Affection," which was equally successful. Park Eun Bin admitted portraying Woo Young Woo was a challenge, seeing it hard the first time.
But then, she started to get an idea, so things began to unravel for her. With the high expectations that Yoo In Sik and Moon Ji Won had for her, they helped her have the guts to do the series.
Meanwhile, Yoo In Sik himself dropped a little spoiler on how the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" story will flow. He revealed Woo Young Woo would face more ordeals as the drama continued, along with some sadness and love.
However, knowing Yoo Young Woo's character, she would handle them all head-on. He added that fans would soon see the answer to her question, "What makes a great attorney," by continuously exploring on her own.
In addition, the director teased a love line forming between Lee Joon Ho (Kang Tae Oh) and Woo Young Woo in the drama. He also asked the viewers to wait for their clever date, which he described as "interesting to watch."
There would also be new whales in the drama after Yoo In Sik hinted at the hidden story between Woo Young Woo's father and the growth of Han Bada. "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" airs every Wednesday and Thursday.
