Hyun Bin returns to the big screen with "Confidential Assignment 2: International." The new movie's trailer officially dropped on Monday, August 1, teasing Son Ye Jin's comeback as the North Korean detective Rim Cheol Ryeong.

"Confidential Assignment 2: International" is the sequel to the 2017 film "Confidential Assignment." So, are fans ready to see Hyun Bin return to action again?

Aside from the "Crash Landing on You" star, Yoo Hae Jin will also reprise his role as the South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae, per AllKpop. These two will meet again to catch a global criminal organization, working with the newly-added overseas FBI agent Jack, played by Daniel Henney.

From there, the three countries will collaborate to do another confidential assignment. In the upcoming movie's trailer, Cheol Ryeong and Jin Tae reunite for a new mission.

They will be joined by Jack, raising the expectations for the movie's second outing. This will start a "global triangular" work unique to "Confidential Assignment 2: International."

Viewers will also see Min Yeong (YoonA) in the sequel movie, as well as her unchanging affection for Cheol Ryeong. The banter between these two will bring great laughter to the film.

Elsewhere, Jang Myung Joon (Jin Seon Kyu) will display strong visuals as he gives birth to a new villain. The action will vary from car chasings to blazing flames to continuous running.

Kang Jin Tae will encourage the group to go international and tell everyone they're the Avengers. "In a situation where Thanos is about to flick his finger, can Iron Man and Captain America really fight like this [amongst themselves] about who's better?" he asks.

"Confidential Assignment 2: International" is Hyun Bin's returning project after marrying Son Ye Jin in March. The couple also announced they are now expecting.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old actor started to gain widespread recognition when he did the romantic comedy K-drama "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" in 2005. Since then, he has played several leading roles in a number of series, like "Secret Garden," "Memories of the Alhambra" and, of course, "Crash Landing on You" opposite Son Ye Jin.

He also conquered the big screen with the movies "The Swindlers," "The Negotiation," "Confidential Assignment" and "Rampant." No wonder Hyun Bin was Gallup Korea's Television Actor of the Year in 2011; a top Hallyu star and one of the highest paid and most influential actors in South Korea, per Pinkvilla.

"Confidential Assignment 2: International" is set to be out in September.
