Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly making a major u-turn on their upcoming Netflix and book projects in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II's demise. The Sussexes may no longer want to hurt the royal family's feelings after losing the monarch.

According to reports, King Charles III will hold off the prince and princess titles he will give the Sussexes kids until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's projects come out. With that said, the couple is allegedly making some changes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been working on their docuseries, which is part of their multimillion-dollar Netflix deal, for over a year. The streaming giant's bosses, who are yet to announce the project officially, have been reportedly hoping to air this project in December following "The Crown" Season 5's premiere on November 9.

However, as the two controversial royals plan to make more edits to the show, its release may be pushed back until 2023. Though they're usually part of the editing process, sources claimed they're now keen to remove or modulate everything they've said about King
Charles, Camilla, Queen Consort, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

A Hollywood industry told Page Six a lot of talks are happening, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to want to hold the docuseries' release until next year. "They want to stall," the insider continued.

The insider even doubts if they want to "shelve" this project, as the show has the potential not to progress or move forward. Alternatively, Prince Harry is allegedly "panicking" over his memoir and trying to make some "last-minute changes" before it hits the shelves.

The fifth in line to the throne reportedly worries that parts of his book may be "insensitive" in the wake of Queen Elizabeth's death and his father becoming the new King.

This news comes after a source revealed that the book's publisher, Penguin Random House, had already requested to make some major changes to the memoir. The insider told The Sun on Sunday that the publishers paid $20 million upfront, knowing whatever Prince Harry wrote would hugely sell and gain incredible exposure worldwide.

However, they seemed disappointed that the first draft was a "bit too emotional" and more focused on mental issues than they wanted. But, the new changes Meghan Markle's husband is pushing for are still not a guarantee as it "has already been signed off." By the looks of it, fans have to wait for the release of these projects to see what it really contains.
