2NE1's Park Bom's video of performing at the "2022 Popstival" in the Philippines raises concerns over the idol's health. Fans notice the singer has gained some weight, and they can't help but worry that it happened in just a short span of time.
The "2022 Popstival" happened on October 21. Park Bom performed "Fire," "Spring," "4:44," "Don't Cry," and "You & I," and though fans enjoyed the show, they seemed to fear for her condition.
Former entertainment reporter and now YouTuber Lee Jin Ho revealed that the K-pop star was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and couldn't control her eating habits. In fact, it has been happening since she was promoting with her group at YG Entertainment.
Allegedly, he asked a former agency official about her condition and said it was hard to control her. Things would get worse when she felt stressed and started binge eating, making it harder to watch her weight.
Not only that, but they also had an issue with her styling. Lee Jin, too, couldn't help but worry about Park Bom's quick weight gain after appearing a little thinner in July and August. In just a couple of months, her body weight has increased.
That said, the social media personal predicted that she might be going through something that caused her great stress. Fans, too, worry about her health, thinking there's something wrong with her well-being.
Meanwhile, Park Bom will also be part of the "Grand Wave Kpop Festival" in Malaysia o November 19 with Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, EXO's Chen, GOT7's Youngjae, B.I., Shaun, and DJ Soda. The event will be held at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach.
There are no words yet if more artists will come to the event, while the ticketing information is expected to be out soon. Surely, this festival is a must-see.
Park Bom is a former 2NE1 member, along with Dara, CL, and Minzy. They recently had a reunion at Coachella 2022 in April and performed their hit 2009 single "I Am the Best."
The event was part of CL's set during the 88rising's "Head in the Clouds Forever." It was their first performance together on one stage in more than six years following their disbandment in 2016.
As a solo artist, Park Bom released the song "Do Re Mi Fa Sol," featuring Changmo in April 2021 as part of her official comeback album "re: Blue Rose," which dropped in 2019. She recently collaborated with the actor Kim Min Seuk for the song "Flower," released on March 11.
