Song Joong Ki once again dominates the small screens with his new K-dram, "Reborn Rich." As the show is about to end this month, with only six episodes remaining, fans can re-watch his past K-drama series to see more of the great acting talent of Song Hye Kyo's ex-husband.
"Reborn Rich" now dominates the most buzzworthy dramas and actors' rankings, with Song Joong Ki in the lead. So, take a look at his other led series that left a big mark in his career.
'Descendants of the Sun'
Of course, the first on the list made by AllKpop is "Descendants of the Sun," where he played the role of Yoo Shi Jin, opposite his ex-wife's Kang Mo Yeon. Here, he fell in love with a doctor, which made their love story more complicated.
He then had another shot at love when Kang was sent to help the civilians where he was deployed. "Descendants of the Sun" can be streamed on Netflix.
'Vincenzo'
Next is "Vincenzo." Fans saw a different Song Joong Ki here, playing as a consigliere in a mafia, putting him in big trouble.
Here, he played the role of Vincenzo Cassano, who got involved with the lawyer Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Been). The show is also available on Netflix.
'Arthdal Chronicles'
This one is a little different from the K-dramas the South Korean actor usually does due to its fantasy theme. It featured the ups and downs of the mythical heroes living in a virtual world called Arth.
Aside from the 37-year-old star's great acting, the series' cinematography is one for the books and definitely a must-see. "Vincenzo" can also be re-watched on Netflix.
'Reborn Rich' Success
TBS's "Reborn Rich" is evidently a success with its continuous domination of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors' rankings. In fact, it continuously topped the Good Data Corporation's weekly list of the series that made the most noise for the third consecutive week.
The company determines each week's ranking by gathering data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts about the shows that are either currently airing or are about to be out soon.
Aside from the show itself, its stars also dominated the most buzz-worthy cast members list, with five out of 10 spots taken. Song Joong Ki topped the list, followed by his co-stars, Lee Sung Min at No. 3, Park Ji Hyun at No. 5, Kim Nam Hee at No. 7, and Kim Shin Rok at No. 9.
