"Emily in Paris" Season 3 will be out in a couple of days, and there's a slew of spoilers coming out to tease fans even more. From the problems Emily (Lily Collins) must face to another set of fashion ensembles viewers shouldn't miss, here's everything they're about to see.
The show's stars tease that the fashion in "Emily in Paris" Season 3 will be bolder. Also, instead of focusing on the luxurious brands of today, it will highlight emerging fashion designers.
Lucien Laviscount, who plays the role of Alfie, revealed Emily had remained her touch on wearing unpaired clothing. He even told Page Six that Collins would always take their breath away whenever she arrived on the set.
"Everything is bigger, better, and bolder [this season]," he teased. Alternatively, William Abadie, who takes on the role of Antoine Lambert, said costume designer Marylin Fitoussi put highlights on emerging designers this time.
He explained that they all spent a long time in the dressing room as Fitoussi wanted to feature new designers in "Emily in Paris" Season 3. It was time for them to take the high-end and contemporary designers and go to the thrift shop to bring the antique and vintage pieces to the spotlight.
"It helps elevate [the show] and bring diversity in the fashion," he continued. In addition, Samuel Arnold, who portrays Julien, gave all the credit to Fitoussi for helping shape their characters.
She revealed Fitoussi knew how to bring every character to life with their wardrobe despite being different from one another.
Meanwhile, plot-wise, fans are about to see Emily making a major decision for her career in "Emily in Paris" Season 3. In an interview with Variety at the show's premiere in New York, Phil Collins' daughter revealed her character would be "indecisive and yet weirdly decisive" in the new season.
The 33-year-old admitted that she could relate to Emily's uncertainties in life, feeling like she wanted to sit amid all the decisions she needed to make and overthink a lot. In the new season, Emily must focus on one thing at a time, and Collins admires her role in finally making some decisions.
This time, Emily has to choose between staying with Madeline (Kate Walsh) at Savoir or remaining in Paris to help Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) build her marketing firm.
So, what will she choose? Find out when "Emily in Paris" Season 3 drops on Netflix on Wednesday, December 21.
