Song Joong Ki's "Reborn Rich" is continuously topping South Korea's drama list, becoming the second highest-rating drama in cable TV history. Now only that, but its stars are also dominating the actors' list by generating the most buzz.

The latest Friday and Saturday episodes of "Reborn Rich" saw their highest viewership ratings yet. As the show will be in its final run this week, will it break or make new records?

Nielsen Korea noted, via Soompi, that the series' latest episode scored an average nationwide rating of 24.9 percent. It was said to be a huge jump from the rating of its previous episode the night prior.

Aside from making a new personal best, it replaced the "SKY Castle" record as the second-highest-rated drama in cable TV history. The show achieved its highest ratings during its finale, with an average nationwide rating of 23.8 percent.

That makes "Reborn Rich" the second drama next to the 2020 hit series "The World of the Married." The show still holds the record of the highest rating in any Korean cable network history, with a nationwide average of 28.4 percent.

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki's drama continuously sweeps all the top spots of this week's rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors. For the fourth consecutive week, the series remains at the top of Good Data Corporation's weekly list of the shows that generated the most buzz.

The company determines the weekly ranking by gathering data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media engagements about the shows that currently air or are about to be released soon.

In addition, it also conquered the top 10 spots of this week's list of the most buzzworthy cast members, with Song Joong Ki at the No. 1 spot, followed by Lee Sung Min at No. 2, Kim Shin Rok at No. 4, Shin Hyun Been at No. 5, Park Ji Hyun at No. 7, and Kim Nam Hee at No. 8.

"Reborn Rich" is now competing with "Alchemy of Souls Part 2," the second most buzzworthy drama series. It also dominated the most buzzworthy actor list, with Go Yoon Jung at No. 3 and Lee Jae Wook at No. 6.

"Reborn Rich" still has two episodes left before it officially concludes. It will be out on December 24 and 25, so industry watchers are now looking for how these two final episodes will do in the rating game.
