Tom Brady will spend Christmas Eve alone for the first time after his divorce from Gisele Bündchen. The football icon revealed his plans for the holidays, admitting he has to deal with the Yuletide season professionally.
Rumors about Brady and Bündchen's divorce became rampant before they officially confirmed their split in October. Now, it looks like the two are moving on, minding their own lives while co-parenting their two kids, Benjamin and Vivian.
In the Monday episode of SiriusXM's "Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray" podcast, the footballer revealed he would celebrate Christmas eve in a hotel and learn how to deal with "Christmas and Christmas night." Despite what he's going through, he's still going out there and being a professional, per Page Six.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers player revealed he learned these things from this football season. It would be a new experience for him, something that he had never done before and now had to deal with on his own.
"I think that's what life's about," Brady said.
The 45-year-old would be joining his team on the field on Christmas Day. So, he will instead be with his kids to celebrate the festivities on December 26.
By the looks of it, he has been used to doing this setup, admitting it has been part of the football season for a long time. He then stressed that it's just the emotional aspects that let people thrive.
Alternatively, Bündchen is enjoying her vacation in her home country of Brazil. The supermodel is with her two kids and gives everyone a glimpse of her holiday in a series of posts on Instagram.
In the caption, she wrote that she's recharging with her little ones in the country of her heart. In one of the snaps, she's evidently having fun at the beach while wearing a leopard-print swimsuit.
She also shared photos of Vivian and Benjamin hanging by the pool and playing on the playground. She, too, enjoyed her daughter's company, cuddling up while eating a treat.
Of course, Bündchen also has her much-needed me time, relaxing on a gray chair while meditating. She also smiles for the camera while making a heart shape with her hands over the sunset.
After months of ongoing rumors, the ex-couple confirmed they had finalized their divorce in October. Brady and Bündchen share two kids, while the former also has a son, Jack, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.
