Hyun Bin seemed stunned by "The Point Men" co-actor Hwang Jung Min's question about his romance with his wife, Son Ye Jin. Though the two have been married for nearly a year and have a kid, the "Deliver Us from Evil" star couldn't help but ask when the couple started dating.

Hyun Bin and Hwang Jung Min graced the press conference for their upcoming movie "The Point Men" on Tuesday, December 20, at the Megabox Seongsu at Seongdong-gu, Seoul. As the "My Name is Kim Sam-Soon" breakout star talked about Son Ye Jin, he was asked a surprising question.

The 40-year-old revealed his fellow "Crash Landing on You" star didn't give him any advice when he did his latest movie, considering she played a negotiator in their film "The Negotiation," per AllKpop. Playing the role of a kidnapper in their 2018 picture, his character in his new movie is totally different.

"So my wife, Son Ye Jin, didn't give me any advice," he said. From there, Hwang Jung Min surprised him when he asked if they weren't already dating while doing the film.

Hyun Bin revealed they weren't going out yet at the time. He later quipped that he thought his "The Point Men" co-star was a reporter with his question, making everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, talking about their film, both Hyun Bin and Hwang Jung Min admitted it was challenging for them to do "The Point Men" as most of their scenes were shot in Jordan, where the scorching heat left them exhausted.

Although the movie was set in Afghanistan, based on the true events of the 23 South Korean missionaries who were kidnapped as hostages in 2007, director Lim Soon Rye experienced various setbacks that he chose to film in Jordan instead.

He told the reporters at the event that they set the film's production in the desert, under the scorching heat, in the slum areas, and even brought their own airplane. But all their efforts paid off when they perfectly delivered the message they wanted and didn't use computer graphics for the unbelievable sequences.

Alternatively, Hwang Jung Min, who plays the role of the diplomat Jung Jae Ho, said doing "The Point Men" wasn't easy during the pandemic. They had to find the best place to look like Afghanistan amid a global health scare.

In addition, Hyun Bin, who portrays the National Intelligence Service agent Park Dae Sik, revealed that extreme heat even affected their vehicles when the engines overheated. However, his fascination with its storyline and character made him not mind those hardships.

"The Point Men" will be out in local theaters on January 18.
