Is Mr. Compress still alive in "My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 14? That's the question fans want answers to as the anime's second cour is about to begin.

Many doubt Mr. Compress' life in "My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 14. As he's known as a trickster, he may only be faking his death and surprise many that he's still full of life.

Fans see Deku being helpless again after Shigaraki manages to escape. The villain will surely return much stronger than before, bearing an incredible strength that no one thought he could have.

The plan to catch him at this time has just backfired on the hero. By the looks of it, there's no way for them to move on yet.

"My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 14 will start this season's second cour after the Paranormal Liberation War ended in Episode 13. Though some major events from this storyline are yet to be adapted, there are theories it may be featured at the beginning of cour two's Villain Hunt arc.

The new episode preview gives a glimpse of the season's new ending theme song, "North Wind (Kita Kaze" by the rock band Six Lounges. The track will be heard from Episodes 14 to 25, though it remains to be seen if there will also be a new opening theme song coming.

The previous seasons of the series each featured two opening and ending theme songs. Hence, it may be the same for the current season. There will also be a new set of visuals that will be seen during the intro.

Meanwhile, no new episodes will be coming this week as the anime will take a New Year break. The manga is on a hiatus, too, as Shueisha had a Christmas break.

It has also been known that the creator Kohei Horikoshi has to take frequent breaks due to his health problems. Thankfully, he gets fans' support, hoping the leaves will help him recover and organize his work so that it will not worsen his health status.

There are ongoing debates on how much manga content is left that the current season will adapt. At the end of the first cour, it has already adapted 37 chapters into 13 episodes, with about three chapters per episode animated.

Hence, the remaining 12 episodes may cover 36 more chapters. Anyhow, 11 remaining chapters of the Paranormal Liberation arc are still to be adapted.

If this is adapted in the second cour, there will be a total of 32 chapters that it needs to feature, and Star and Strip may only be introduced at the end of the season. "My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 14 will be out on Saturday, January 7.
