Penn Badgley returns as the handsome stalker Joe Goldberg in "You" Season 4. As many already knew who's he after all along, it looks like he will have a different apple of the eye.

In the previous season, Joe was obsessing with Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle), who fled the country and escaped his rotten obsession. Though Joe would surely do his best to find her, he would have another love interest in "You" Season 4.

Fans last saw Joe in Paris, looking for Marienne, though the new season would mostly occur in London. He's now working as a professor in the guise of Jonathan Moore.

As he continuously finds Marienne, he sets his eyes on others, on a woman named Kate (Charlotte Ritchie). The upcoming installment's promo images hint at a new woman in Joe's life.

In fact, Badgley himself confirmed this theory in an episode of "Podcrushed" podcast with Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari. The 36-year-old revealed his favorite scenes with his female opposites, from Beck (Elizabeth Lail) to Love (Victoria Pedretti) to Marienne and now Kate.

Kavelin revealed Kate is Joe's new girl in "You" Season 4, and Badgley said he couldn't discuss his favorite scene with her yet. However, he teased that what made things interesting about Kate was that there had to be "something new" about every character every season for Joe's "person," who he hoped his character wouldn't kill.

"She brings something new to the table, both as an actress but then also the character," he said.

Meanwhile, fans are about to see Joe starting a new life in London after he killed his wife and faked his own death in the previous season. He has found his new home overseas, saying in the new season's official teaser that he has gone through "a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond."

Showrunner Sera Gamble told Entertainment Weekly that four seasons in, they need Joe to be "reasonably self-aware," though he still has huge blind spots. He will continuously find himself messing up time and over again, so he will try his best to redeem himself in "You" Season 4.

The fun part of it, fans will see him trying to get better and be kind in several heroic ways. "You" Season 4 will drop its first part on Netflix on February 9, 2023, while the second part will be out on March 9, 2023.
