The holidays are over, but "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 will make the Christmas return with the adaptation of the Christmas Showdown arc. Takemichi will finally make a comeback after a year as the second season is about to drop this week, with the revelation of its streaming services.

Fortunately, fans can see "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 on two streaming services for U.S. and international fans. So, are the viewers ready for another epic adventure of Takemichi, Mikey, and the rest of the gang?

Comicbook reported that the new season would stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ for global audiences. Though only little details about the second season's premiere are known, at least its release date has been officially revealed.

The second season will finally be out on Saturday, January 7, after more than a year of waiting. For starters, the first season started in April 2021 and ended in November of the same year.

So, what will happen in "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2? The new season will see the coming of Tokyo Manji Gang's new enemy, The Black Dragons.

A huge conflict will arise between the two and Takemichi will do his best to take down the new villains. Hence, in the premiere episode, fans may see how Takemichi has survived Kisaki Tetta's gunshot to his head.

The previous season finale saw Kisaki successfully outsmart the Tokyo Manji Gang and kill Chifuyu after. He then shot Takemichi, ending the first season with a major cliffhanger.

"Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 may also see Takemichi returning to the past, and Kisaki's gunshot may trigger his travel back in time. It's also possible that he intentionally wants to return to the past after being rescued by someone. Fans may also get to see some updates about Mikey and Draken's whereabouts this time.

The anime's first season was met with great success; thus, there's high anticipation for its second iteration. Creator Ken Wakui has already finished the work on its manga version in November 2022, followed by the release of a live-action movie.

Fans who want to catch up on the series still have time to do so. The first season followed the story of Takemichi, learning his high school girlfriend, Hinata, had died.

He then traveled back 12 years into the past to face the Tokyo Manji Gang that once made his life hell. This group was also behind Hinata's death.

So, to save Hinata and change the future, Takemichi needed to rise to the top of Kanto's "most sinister delinquent gang," but things would be harder after befriending the group's leader, Mikey. This story will continue when "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 begins.
