Song Joong Ki officially confirmed the identity of his girlfriend, Katy Louis Saunders. Not only that, but he also announced their marriage and the coming of their little bundle of joy in a post on his official fan café Monday, January 30.
Song Joong Ki wrote a letter to his fans to give them a major update about his life. After much speculation about his girlfriend, Saunders, he has finally confirmed their relationship status.
The 37-year-old started his lengthy message, via AllKpop, by greeting his fans and revealing that he wanted to share the "happiest and most important promise" in his life. He then said he had promised Saunders, who had been supporting him and with whom he had been sharing time, that he would spend the rest of his life with her.
The "Reborn Rich" star then described his lady love as someone with a kind heart and a wise and amazing person who has led a passionate life and has admired. He also thanked her for making him a "better person."
Song Joong Ki then stated they both wanted to make a happy family. And as they tried to keep that promise, he announced they had already welcomed a "precious life" between them.
Hence, they have now registered their marriage as a couple and promised they would continue to walk the same path and look in the same direction. The "Vincenzo" star thanked all his fans who have continuously supported him and vowed to be a more passionate and responsible actor.
Song Joong Ki confirmed he had a new romance in December 2022. At the time, there were reports that he was dating a British woman.
