Song Joong Ki's just made noise when his recent K-drama "Reborn Rich" hit the small screen and became a success. As fans now ask what's next for Song Hye Kyo's ex, an old video of him recently resurfaced and garnered huge attention.

The Thursday episode of KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Company Live" featured a segment "celebrities discovered by KBS" from ranks one to eight. Song Joong Ki came second, revealing he had appeared on KBS 1TV's "Quiz Korea" in 2006.

At the time, the actor was just a first-year student studying social science at Sungkyunkwan University. With his good looks, he effortlessly got everyone's attention. At the time, he revealed that he wanted to become a news anchor.

A fan café was even instantly created due to his incredible visuals after he made his TV appearance. The 37-year-old revealed, via AllKpop, that he was only a replacement on the show, but a fan club was instantly created after the broadcast. Hence, he was surprised because he wasn't even a celebrity back then.

Meanwhile, after the success of "Reborn Rich," fans are now asking what's next for Song Joong Ki. By the looks of it, he will be doing a new movie opposite Choi Sung Eun.

The film in question is "I Met Ro Gi Wan," which will be directed by Kim Hee Jin. It will be based on Jo Hae Jin's novel with the same title, telling the story of a man named Ro Gi Wan, who will be played by Song Koong Ki, a North Korean defector who arrives in Belgium as a refugee.

He will then fall in love with Mari (Choi Sung Eun), a woman entangled in a bad relationship while struggling to settle down. The two are about to meet, albeit having different personalities.

Ro Gi Wan will do everything to live, while Mari is ready to die even if it will happen tomorrow, thinking she has no hope and future.

A production company has held an audition to find a fresh face to take on the role of Mari. Fortunately, Choi Sung Eun took the spot.

Song Joong Ki recently confirmed his part in the movie, which would soon start production. For starters, "I Met Ro Gi Wan" had been in talks since 2017.

However, at the time, the project was said to be still "premature," and they only had one meeting about it. After five years, it would finally be in the works at the end of the year at the earliest, and it would be set overseas.
