The Americans reportedly want to oust Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after releasing their controversial Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," and his memoir, "Spare." Not only that, but the Hollywood elites also seemingly exiled the royal couple, not getting any invites to important events.

Prince Harry and Meghan have said a lot of things about the royal family and the institution as a whole after stepping down from their senior royal roles in 2020. From there, they held a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, with whom they seemed to have a close friendship, but why weren't there on her 69th birthday on January 29 and other celebrity-field events?

The Sussexes' absence from the Queen of All Media's birthday celebration was evident after seeing some of the most famous stars, like Kim Kardashian, Sharon Stone, and Jessica Alba. They also skipped the 25th anniversary of the cosmetics company Anastasia Beverly Hills, which Jennifer and Heidi Klum attended.

With these non-appearances, the Spectator columnist Kara Kennedy believed these "snubs" were signs that the "tide is turning" with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. She explained that the risk they took in trading their lives as senior royals for money and fame as celebrities didn't pay off.

Kennedy added that they just used Oprah as a pawn when they started their campaign to finish off the British monarchy during their infamous tell-all in 2021. A Hollywood insider allegedly said that everyone is beginning to realize that Prince Harry and Meghan never intended to have a quiet life due to their "equal drama."

In addition, they also weren't part of the guest list for Barack Obama's birthday in August last year, though George Clooney, Jay-Z, and Beyonce were there. However, it's also good to note that the pair may have good reasons they can't attend big events like this, considering they have two young kids, Archie and Lilibet.

Alternatively, royal expert and "To Di For Daily" podcast host Kinsey Schofield claimed these A-list celebrities didn't want Prince Harry and Meghan to "distract the event." On Fox News, via Express, he said that as someone who had spent years in PR and lived in L.A., words on the street were that the royals weren't invited anywhere because all eyes would be on them, probably causing distraction from the cause or event.

He stressed that, in reality, "they're seen as drama." Prince Harry and Meghan are also considered untrustworthy, resulting in fears that talking to them, albeit privately, may end up being discussed on a podcast, reality show, or book.
