"Boruto" anime is about to adapt The Code arc, the first time after more than a year that the series will feature a storyline directly from the manga. As this has already excited the fans, here's everything they need to know.

The upcoming episodes of "Boruto" anime have a lot to offer this time when it comes to lore and new villains facing Boruto, Kawaki, and the rest of the gang. And knowing how this story goes in the manga, fans are surely up for a good time, dramatically altering the series' storyline.

Naruto and Sasuke have become weaker after losing Kurama and Rinnegan. To make things worse, much stronger enemies are about to come in the upcoming new arc, and they're about to seek revenge following the unfortunate fate of Isshiki Otsutsuki.

Code is Isshiki's unsuccessful vessel and most zealous follower, and he aspires to become a celestial entity. Alternatively, Eida and Daemon are cyborgs the devious scientist Amado developed, and they're about to join Code in his mission.

The Otsutsukis have been key figures in the franchise's universe. In "Boruto" anime's The Code arc, fans are about to learn about the Otsutsuki God Shibai, who used Karma to resurrect himself every time he needed so and ate a lot of Chakra to attain godhood.

This helped him to perform shinjutsu, known as ninjutsu's highest level. It will be revealed that his remains have been implanted into Code, Eida, and Daemon's bodies, making them virtually invincible.

This arc may also feature how Boruto will get Otsutsukified and have a mental connection with Momoshiki. However, it remains to be seen how long this storyline will run, considering it's still running in the manga.

Rumors have it that the "Boruto" anime The Code arc will be divided into two parts, with filler materials in between. But considering there will be no fillers that will hinder the story's flow, directly adapting one chapter at a time, it may feature 20 episodes if it adapts the 21 chapters of the manga's arc from Chapters 56 to 77.

The Code arc is considered the "real heavy hitter" after the Sasuke's Story spinoff. The anime currently features "Naruto: Sasuke's Story - The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust" in its latest episodes before officially transitioning to the new storyline.

The new storyline will pick up the events of the fight against Isshiki and see Code, Kara's final remnant, recruit two of the evil organization's android villains, whose first glimpses have been featured in "Boruto" anime's newest opening. Though it's not an official teaser of what's about to come, the opening features a lot of actions that fans are about to see.
