The "Jennifer's Body" star left a comment on the musician's Instagram post, seemingly explaining her controversial words about her. "How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into a confirmation of it - I will never understand," she wrote.
She then asked why people were so dumb and welcomed her to Hollywood, adding the rumors were her first "unwarranted PR disaster." The 36-year-old said that the "flames of fame" had now baptized Lloyd, and things would only worsen.
Hence, Fox advised her to ignore the negative talks about her as much as she could and ended her comment with, "middle finger up." Of course, Lloyd replied to her statement, saying the internet was so wild and sent so much love her way.

After a week, Fox returned to Instagram and released a statement to address the claims, denying "any...third party interference" in her relationship with MGK. She even asked everyone to let the made-up story about them die and leave the innocent people involved in the issue alone.
