King Charles III may offer Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a new place at Buckingham Palace after news broke that he asked the couple to vacate their Frogmore Cottage. This news comes after the Sussexes' rep confirmed the monarch had invited them to attend his coronation on May 6 at Windsor Castle.

Several questions about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new U.K. home and invitation to the coronation have been finally answered over the weekend. However, it remains to be seen if Prince Harry and Meghan will accept King Charles' offer and invite.

Express noted that the offer of a flat at Buckingham Palace is His Majesty's move to extend an olive branch to his son and daughter-in-law. Allegedly, the palace's door will always be open for the controversial pair whenever they decide to visit Britain.

Instead of staying at Windsor Castle, they will reportedly be given access to Prince Andrew's old suite at the palace. This news comes after King Charles's plan to reorganize the monarchy is revealed.

He's allegedly set to remove privileges from non-working royal family members like Prince Harry and Meghan. In fact, the issue of them being asked to vacate Frogmore isn't the only royal property controversy known.

Even the Duke of York is said to vacate his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion, where he has lived for over two decades. He will reportedly move into Frogmore once his nephew and his wife leave the place-that is, if he accepts his brother's offer.

When Prince Andrew and his ex-wife leave the Royal Lodge, there's a possibility that Prince William and Kate Middleton will take their place over. But the said mansion still needs significant renovation work.

This comes after news emerged that Prince Harry and Meghan have officially received an invitation to King Charles' coronation. However, there are no words yet if they will accept the invite and attend the historic event.

The two's spokesperson confirmed the news to The Times, revealing they had received an email correspondence from His Majesty's office about the crowning. But the rep cleared they had no immediate decision to disclose yet on whether Prince Harry and Meghan would attend.

Their attendance seems uncertain after the series of accusations and other claims Prince Harry made against the royal family in their Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," and memoir, "Spare." The palace has remained tight-lipped about it and hasn't answered any of the allegations.

Rumors have it that King Charles has been "hit hard" by his youngest child's accusations, especially his shots at his stepmother, Camilla, Queen Consort." Allegedly, the king feels Prince Harry has crossed the line, leading to his decision to evict him and Meghan from Frogmore a day after "Spare" hit the shelves.
