Speculation about a rift in the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been categorically dismissed by esteemed royal commentator Charles Rae, best known for his work with The Sun and as co-author of "The Queen Mum: Her First 100 Years."

Rae recently weighed in on the rampant conjectures that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's marital bond might be strained, an assumption largely stemming from their decision to step back from royal duties and move to California in 2020.

"Speculations about their marriage have been swirling ever since they relocated to Montecito from Britain," Rae stated during his appearance on GB News. "Most were predicting Harry would return home within two years, however, it has already been half a decade."

Rae further addressed the growing rumors, suggesting that the couple's uncharacteristic silence during their recent fifth wedding anniversary and rumors of Prince Harry maintaining a private space without Markle in Montecito added fuel to the fire.

"Such rumors have resurfaced mainly due to the couple's decision not to share official anniversary photos and allegations, although vehemently denied by Harry's representatives, that he has a separate retreat in Montecito for solitary downtime," Rae explained.

The royal commentator dismissed these rumors, revealing he found no substantial evidence to suggest any marital discord between the Sussexes.

"Despite the whispers, I have come across no concrete signs indicating their marriage is faltering," Rae confirmed.

Rae's comments are echoed by other royal experts, despite the Sussexes' conspicuous silence during their milestone anniversary. Entertainment and royal reporter, Bronte Coy, noted the couple's inactivity on social media during this significant occasion, calling it "unusual."

In contrast, veteran journalist and royal biographer Angela Levin suggested that Markle's recent independence may indicate a growing distance between her and Prince Harry. In a recent GB News interview, Levin suggested Markle's absences in times of need might indicate the beginning of an end.

"Markle has been absent during Harry's most crucial times, and considering his mental health struggles, he requires strong support," Levin claimed. "In my opinion, this could spell the start of a turning point for their relationship."

Despite contrasting views from various experts, the crux remains that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage speculation is largely unsubstantiated and based mostly on conjectures and rumors.
