Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who famously stepped back from their duties as working members of the Royal Family, have been quite vocal about their experiences with the monarchy, which they have articulated in several forums.

Their explosive revelations during the interview with Oprah Winfrey, the contentious Netflix series, and Harry's revealing memoir "Spare," offered the public a glimpse into their personal sentiments about their time in the royal realm, particularly their strained relationships with King Charles and Prince William.

However, a recent report suggests that the couple are planning to pivot their roles, focusing more on their careers behind the camera, rather than in front of it. This shift is reportedly prompted by a realization, according to The Sun.

The couple is said to plan to cease public discussions about the Royal Family as they believe they have "nothing left to say". An insider quoted by The Sun stated, "That period of their life is over - as there is nothing left to say."

In the much-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, the couple didn't shy away from making several allegations against the monarchy, even addressing controversial topics such as discussions about their son Archie's skin color when he was still unborn.

In their Netflix series "Harry & Meghan," the couple showcased their love journey and transition away from their royal obligations. Harry's bestselling memoir "Spare," released in January this year, made further sensational disclosures about his royal life, including claims about his brother William's alleged aggression towards him and his father Charles' lack of emotional support following Princess Diana's death.

Sources interpret this shift in direction as marking the 'end of an era' for the couple.

Interestingly, during an interview in 2017, three years before the couple's exit from the monarchy, Harry indicated that all might not have been well with his role in the royal family. He admitted to having had thoughts of "wanting out" and yearning for an "ordinary life."

In this revealing dialogue, later covered by the Mail on Sunday, the then 32-year-old Harry spoke of his struggles and how he ultimately chose to continue in his royal role. He reportedly said, "I spent many years kicking my heels and I didn't want to grow up. I felt I wanted out but then decided to stay in and work out a role for myself," attributing his decision to his unwavering loyalty to his late grandmother, the Queen.
