Accusations are flying that Prince Harry is engaged in an effort to destabilize his own lineage and homeland. Angela Levin, a respected royal biographer, has alleged that the Duke of Sussex is seeking to disrupt both the Royal Family and the wider United Kingdom.

Levin, a veteran journalist, voiced these provocative claims during a conversation with GB News presenter Nana Akua. Her observations came in response to Prince Harry's ongoing legal battle against Mirror Group Newspapers in the UK. Levin sharply criticized Prince Harry's disparaging remarks about his homeland during the litigation proceedings at London's High Court.

Levin expressed her disapproval, stating, "I just feel that it was the last straw when he said that Great Britain, this wonderful country, was rock bottom. He didn't have to say it. I still think he's trying to crash the royal family and anybody who belongs to the U.K. out of this world."

Earlier this month, during his witness statement at the High Court, Prince Harry accused the British press of undermining democracy by colluding with the U.K. government to preserve the status quo. He further derided both the British media and the government, labeling them as being at "rock bottom."

Before appearing in the witness box, Prince Harry's statement became public, sparking heated debates against MGN. The publisher of The Daily Mirror, MGN, strongly denies allegations of employing illicit methods, including phone hacking, to unearth confidential information about Prince Harry.

The royal biographer further questioned Prince Harry's allegiance to his nation. As the fifth successor to the throne, Prince Harry is among the Counsellors of State. These are high-ranking members of the royal family assigned to execute most of the monarch's official responsibilities if required.

Levin argued, "You can't be a counselor and advise [and] stand in for the King, if it should be necessary." She expressed her relief that King Charles III can rely on his son, Prince William, and Prince Edward if his presence is required. However, Levin cautioned that circumstances could change if these royals are overseas.

The author concluded, saying, "And I thought something must be done about that because we can't let him loose. It's just not right. It's not fair."

After King Charles took the throne following Queen Elizabeth's passing in November 2022, he designated two of his siblings, Prince Edward and Princess Anne, as new members of the Counsellors of State.

The royal circle has been rife with speculation about this move. Katie Nicholl, Vanity Fair's royal editor, interpreted it as a form of demotion for the Duke of Sussex. Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight, "I mean, the King has been diplomatic, I think, in not stripping them of their roles as Counsellors of State, but that essentially means that Charles is not going to be using Andrew or Harry as a substitute. I think that's just another probably quite painful reminder for Harry that he's willing to be out of the royal family."
