Sussex spokesperson has quashed rumors of Meghan Markle, the former actress from "Suits", negotiating a deal to become the fresh face of Dior, the French fashion brand. The representative informed The Telegraph that the stories were fabricated.

In addition, an anonymous insider at Dior also refuted the chatter of an impending agreement.

The Telegraph was informed by the source that the Dior team in Paris was "at a loss about the origin of this narrative."

This denial follows a report from the Mail on Sunday suggesting that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, "might be on the verge of securing a substantial contract with French couturier Dior, positioning her alongside international celebrities like Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence as the company's face." The article speculated, "Could Meghan be poised to become the high-earning Duchess of Dior?"

An "influential Beverly Hills socialite", who chose to remain unnamed, was quoted saying that "Meghan is currently the talk of the town" in Hollywood.

The source continued, "The buzz has been escalating for weeks that she's on the brink of inking a deal with Dior. This speculation has sent the rumor mill into a frenzy. If she manages this, her short-lived podcast's cancellation will be forgotten." This was in reference to the discontinuation of Meghan's "Archetypes" podcast by Spotify.

Both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been seen sporting Dior's luxury outfits recently.

Prince Harry donned a three-piece suit by Dior at King Charles' coronation in May, including a morning coat and a black vest, along with a neat white shirt and a pearl gray tie.

Dior celebrated the royal's look on its official Twitter account, with a photograph of Harry, captioned, "Tailoring fit for royalty. Dior is proud to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III with a custom design by Kim Jones."

Fashion expert Miranda Holder remarked to Mail Online at the time that Prince Harry seemed "out of sync with the dress code" or "defiant," given that many attendees favored British brands to support local fashion at this patriotic event.

On the other hand, brand and culture analyst Nick Ede suggested that the Sussexes might have partnered with the French fashion label. He explained, "Fashion brands understand that celebrities are an effective means to boost sales and establish credibility. A company like Dior with a rich history would seize the opportunity to collaborate with Harry and Meghan. Publicizing Harry's Dior suit will enhance his brand value. I believe we'll see the Sussexes aligning more with fashion and lifestyle brands for revenue generation and endorsement."
