In an unexpected twist, Mark Zuckerberg appears to have won the public's vote of confidence in a proposed face-off against Elon Musk. Both billionaires have seemingly committed to this cage match, prompting a social media frenzy.

The unconventional challenge issued by Musk to Zuckerberg has ignited extensive discourse on Twitter. Users of the platform initiated polls to see who holds more public support - "Team Elon" or "Team Mark". Surprisingly, a staggering 68% have sided with the Facebook and Instagram magnate over the head of Twitter. Similar polls mirrored this outcome, with over 60% favoring Zuckerberg.

One user questioned the context of these polls, asking, "Is the question about who I think would win or who I want to win?" The user continued, "People might be surprised, but Zuckerberg has substantial knowledge and skills in fighting. Unless Musk has undisclosed skills, Zuckerberg holds a significant advantage." Another echoed this sentiment, pointing out Zuckerberg's physical fitness, reach advantage, and "Argonian racials".

Highlighting Zuckerberg's martial arts training, a third user stated, "Zuckerberg has competed in Jujitsu tournaments. He may very well knock Musk out. Wouldn't that be a sight to behold!" A fourth user speculated that Zuckerberg would win hands down, noting, "Zuckerberg spars with partners more skilled than Musk will ever be. Elon will likely find a way out of it, just like he did with the Twitter acquisition."

Nonetheless, Musk garnered some staunch support, although most acknowledged Zuckerberg's upper hand. One Musk backer admitted, "Even though I'm rooting for Elon, Zuckerberg's Jujitsu black belt can't be overlooked." Another chimed in, "I'm Team Musk, but this might have been a heat-of-the-moment decision. He can still retract his challenge."

Musk instigated the entire affair with a tweet, expressing his readiness to engage in a "cage fight" with Zuckerberg. The Facebook CEO promptly responded, reposting Musk's tweet with the caption, "Send me location."

Upon seeing a news article detailing Zuckerberg's acceptance, Musk tweeted, "Vegas Octagon."

A spokesperson from Meta also confirmed the legitimacy of the situation to the BBC, succinctly stating, "The story speaks for itself."
