BLACKPINK's Jisoo has unveiled her New York travel vlog.
On September19th, Jisoo's channel 'Happiness Jisoo 103%' uploaded a video titled "NEW YORK vlog."
During the video, Jisoo shared her excitement about her trip to the U.S., stating, "After filming my European vlog, I realized something. So, for this vlog, I'll try my best to show more of New York."
On her first day, while heading to Broadway to watch 'The Lion King', Jisoo remarked, "We're late. I underestimated New York's traffic. It's jam-packed. We're walking now," highlighting the congested road situation.
The next day, she boarded a boat to see the Statue of Liberty. With enthusiasm, Jisoo said, "I'll show you the real New York. Traveling New York by boat means no need to walk. The boat tour shows you New York in an hour. The buildings in New York are so tall; it always feels like I'm in a land of giants."
However, she expressed her surprise upon learning that the boat ride would last 1 hour and 30 minutes, saying, "It's a bit shocking. Instead of walking around New York, you have to be on a boat for an hour and a half."
During the ride, strong winds caused the boat to sway significantly. Attempting to take a photo, Jisoo's hair got disheveled by the wind, leading her to exclaim, "Mood ruined!" She then joked about the rocking boat, "It's like a ride. New York is such a dangerous place."
As the boat approached the Statue of Liberty, Jisoo commented, "Now that the Statue of Liberty is in sight, the boat is speeding like crazy. It's a bit startling. I can hear the sound of glass breaking," adding, "This wind is crazy... It's a life-risking view of the Statue of Liberty. Freedom is this challenging."
After safely viewing the Statue of Liberty, Jisoo expressed her satisfaction, "The hour and a half felt shorter than expected. After seeing the Statue of Liberty, I got so excited that time flew by."
The following day, she visited Central Park. Without a picnic mat or available benches, Jisoo remarked, "We'll eat on that rock," but soon after, she exclaimed, "Ants! I'm scared. I hope ants aren't crawling on me. Reality is different from fantasy. I'm scared of the bugs," as she battled with the insects.
After shopping for souvenirs and sightseeing at Times Square, Jisoo wrapped up her New York trip by celebrating BLACKPINK's 7th anniversary with a hot pot meal.
