In a testament to the global influence of K-pop, BTS members and Filipino boy band SB19 have dominated the weekly 'Fan Faves' list of Seattle's Channel R Radio.

Channel R Radio, an all-music station based in Seattle, unveiled its top 10 songs for the week spanning September 18 to 24, 2023. The list was led by solo tracks from BTS members V and Jimin, followed by a hit from SB19's "PAGTATAG!" album.

BTS's V made a splashy entry with his song "Slow Dancing," which clinched the top spot, garnering the highest number of fan votes. Not far behind, Jimin's "Like Crazy" secured the second position. SB19's "I Want You" rounded out the top three, marking a significant achievement for the P-Pop group.

Other BTS members also made their presence felt on the list. Tracks by Suga, Jungkook, and Jin found spots in the top 10. Specifically, "Lilith" by Suga and Halsey, "Seven" featuring Latto by Jungkook, and "The Astronaut" by Jin occupied the fourth, seventh, and ninth positions, respectively.

SB19's Ken, also recognized as FELIP, earned the sixth spot with his solo track "STRAYDOGS." This song is a highlight from FELIP's debut EP "COMPLEX," which debuted earlier this year.

Channel R Radio's 'Fan Faves' list is determined by listener votes and requests made through the station's website and app. The top 10 tracks are aired daily at 5 p.m. PT, with the number one 'Fan Fave' song receiving three plays each day. The results are announced live every Sunday.

V's "Slow Dancing" is a standout track from his solo debut album "Layover," which also features songs like "Rainy Days," "Blue," "Love Me Again," and a piano rendition of "Slow Dancing." On the other hand, Jimin's "Like Crazy" is a gem from his solo album "FACE," released on March 24.

SB19's "I Want You" is a part of their "PAGTATAG!" album, which saw its release in June. Earlier in September, both BTS and SB19 tracks were featured on Channel R Radio's Songs of the Summer 2023 list. BTS members Jimin, V, and Suga had their solo songs in the top 5, alongside tracks by Zayn Malik and SB19.

BTS's global influence remains undeniable, with Jimin's "Like Crazy" and British singer Zayn Malik's "Love Like This" leading the summer list. SB19's dance track "Gento" also made waves, securing the fifth spot, following Suga's "Haegeum" at number four and V's "Love Me Again" at number three.

The continued success of these artists on international platforms underscores the universal appeal of their music and the ever-growing reach of the K-pop genre.
