Grant Harrold, who served the monarch for seven years during his tenure as the Prince of Wales, offers a glimpse into King Charles's mindset. "He has emulated Queen Elizabeth's approach, particularly in official engagements," Harrold noted. While the Queen had ceased overseas visits in her later years, Charles has seamlessly taken on that role, albeit with his distinctive flair.
