BTS's Jungkook has expressed confidence ahead of his solo album release.

On November 2, his agency, Big Hit Music, released a video introducing Jungkook's first solo album titled "Golden."

In the video, Jungkook shared, "I began my solo activities with 'Seven' and '3D', but this is my first solo album under my own name, so it's meaningful. I'm very excited to see how people will react to it." He continued, "The 'Golden' album uses the phrase 'golden moment'. It feels like a combination of the present moment and the nickname that Namjoon (RM) gave me, along with the talents I possess. It also has a vibe of proving something. I have ambitions to demonstrate it."

Jungkook's debut solo album "Golden" includes the title track "Standing Next to You", previously released "Seven", "3D", and seven other songs. He explained that if one listens to the tracks in order, they would naturally feel the emotional transition.

Describing "Standing Next to You", Jungkook confidently said, "'Seven' and '3D' both had performances, but I dare say that the performance for 'Standing Next to You' might be the best ever. I prepared very hard for it and can't wait to show it to the world."

He also spoke about collaborating again with Andrew Watt, who worked with him on "Seven", saying, "Andrew played another song for me, and rather than being instantly attracted to it, I felt its grandeur and could visualize performing it on stage. It seemed fitting for 'Golden's title track."

When asked why all 11 tracks on the album are in English and if fans can expect songs in Korean from his future solo activities, he replied, "This album was targeted at the international music market, so we chose all English songs. Recording was challenging due to pronunciation, but in the end, I'm happy with how all the tracks turned out. I hope to give a gift of Korean songs soon, so please keep your expectations high."

Reflecting on his solo activities, he candidly shared, "While recording and working, I realized many new aspects about myself. But I also recognized areas where I lacked, which made me reflect on myself."

Having achieved great success with "Seven" and "3D", Jungkook has solidified his position as a "global pop star". On his own vocal and performance strengths, he said, "Thank you for calling me a 'global pop star'. It's humbling, but I want to show perfection in singing, dancing, and music. I practice my vocals alone and frequently monitor to improve." He added, "Still, I feel there's room for improvement. One strength might be that my voice seems to suit various types of songs."

Jungkook's debut solo album 'Golden' will be released at 1 pm (KST) on November 3 via various online music sites.
