BTS member Jungkook has made another historic achievement on the U.S. Billboard charts.

According to an article posted on Billboard's official website on November 14th (KST), the title track "Standing Next to You" from Jungkook's solo album "GOLDEN" debuted at number 5 on the main singles chart, the "Hot 100," for the week of November 18th. The song recorded 10.6 million streams, 400,000 radio plays, and a combined physical and digital single sales figure of 99,000 units.

Jungkook has now charted a total of six songs on the Hot 100, establishing a new record for the most entries by a K-pop solo artist. His previous tracks include "Stay Alive (Prod. SUGA of BTS)" (95th) from the HYBE original story '7FATES: CHAKHO,' the collaboration with Charlie Puth "Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)" (22nd), this year's solo singles "Seven (feat. Latto)" (1st) and "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)" (5th), and the collaboration with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee "TOO MUCH" (44th). Jungkook is also the only Korean solo artist to have three songs rank within the top 10 of the Hot 100.

Additionally, "Standing Next to You" debuted at number 1 on both the 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' charts, with "Seven" following closely at number 2.

"Golden" also secured the second spot on the main album chart, 'Billboard 200,' tying the record for the highest-ranking K-pop solo artist. As per the Billboard chart preview on November 13th, "GOLDEN" sold 164,800 physical copies, 29,800 streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and 15,600 track equivalent albums (TEA), totaling 212,000 units. This marks the highest first-week sales in the U.S. for a K-pop solo artist's album. With "GOLDEN" being the first K-pop solo album to exceed 200,000 units in its first week locally, Jungkook is enhancing his stature as a 'global pop star.'
