The day when all members of BTS become 'real ARMY' (Army) is now on a countdown. The military enlistment schedules of RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook have become more concrete. In mid-December, all four members will officially become part of the real Army, with Jimin and Jungkook enlisting together, while V applies for a position in the Capital Defense Command's Special Mission Team, also known as the 'Special Duty Team' (SDT).

According to Big Hit Music and the music industry, RM and V are scheduled to enter the training center on the 11th, while Jimin and Jungkook are set for the 12th. This follows the 'fast track' approach to military enlistment since their joint announcement on November 22 via the global fandom platform Weverse, stating their commitment to fulfill their military duties.

The possibility of 'joint enlistment', which had been discussed, is now confirmed for Jimin and Jungkook. Introduced in 2003, the joint enlistment system allows soldiers to serve their military duties in the same living quarters, from the training center to their unit assignments.

Amid a trend in the entertainment industry where celebrities are increasingly applying for special military units, V has expressed his desire to serve in the Capital Defense Command's Special Mission Team (SDT). The SDT, directly managed by the Capital Defense Command, undertakes difficult tasks such as counter-terrorism operations, VIP protection, and disaster rescue, and only admits candidates with exceptional physical and mental conditions.

Along with the enlistment rush of RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, the current service status of the three members Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, who are already serving, is also attracting attention. As the eldest, Jin has been exemplary in his service, having been promoted early to the rank of Sergeant, serving as an instructor at the Army's 5th Infantry Division Training Center. J-Hope is also serving as an instructor at the 36th Infantry Division's Baekho Training Battalion, while Suga is fulfilling his military duties as a social service worker.

With RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook entering their military hiatus this month, the global fandom 'ARMY', as well as the K-pop industry, are shifting their focus to the return of the 'complete BTS'. The expected discharge date for RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook is June 2025, and there are predictions within the industry that a full group comeback could materialize as early as the end of 2025.
