Christopher Bouzy, a tech CEO and a close friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has recently added fuel to the ongoing conspiracy theories surrounding Kate Middleton's whereabouts since her planned abdominal procedure in January. Bouzy, 48, who appeared in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's 2022 Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan," has taken to social media to claim that the Princess of Wales' recent outing at the Windsor Farm Shop was fake.
In a series of posts on X (formerly known as Twitter), Bouzy shared clips of Middleton, 42, and her husband, Prince William, 41, walking together last year and compared them to their recent stroll at the farm shop. "I've compiled a few older videos of William and Kate walking together, as well as the recent video from Windsor Farm. Take a look and decide for yourself if it's Kate or not. In my opinion, we still haven't seen Kate in public," he wrote on Tuesday.
Bouzy further questioned the authenticity of the sighting, writing, "We were told Kate was recovering and would resume her royal duties shortly. Yet, in the recent video, she is holding a bag and moving briskly. If she's capable of such activity, why isn't she back to fulfilling her royal duties yet?"
The tech entrepreneur's fixation on the theory that the recent Kate sighting was a doppelgänger situation is evident from his X page. He has even attempted to analyze footage of Kate walking in heels versus flat shoes, claiming that based on the strides he can see from old clips, he is convinced that Kate was not at the Windsor Farm Shop last weekend.
Bouzy's connection to the Sussex couple is well-known, as he appeared in their Netflix documentary after his company Bot Sentinel issued a report stating that the couple dealt with millions of trolls. When the series debuted on Dec. 8, he reportedly expressed his excitement, writing, "Let's go!" and "I guess I can officially announce I am in the Harry and Meghan docuseries."
The Princess of Wales has been the subject of various conspiracy theories since her absence from the public eye following her surgery in January. As The Post previously reported, footage of a "happy, healthy and relaxed" Middleton and William was captured going to a store near their home over the weekend. Sources told the Sun that the couple stopped by the store after watching their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, play sports.
Royal insiders have recently told The New York Post that Middleton's appearance should put an end to the ongoing rumors about her location and recovery. The mother of three looked "positive and healthy," an insider said, noting that the sighting "should hopefully be enough to put an end to the outside noise about her recovery."
Despite this, Bouzy remains unconvinced, suggesting that the way Kate was moving so briskly while holding a bag does not align with someone advised to take it easy after surgery. He has previously been critical of Kate and William, having tweeted that they were aging in "banana years," while consistently defending Harry and Meghan from online trolls and harassment.
As for Prince Harry, he is reportedly "concerned" about the stories circulating about his sister-in-law. A source told Page Six that the Invictus Games founder believes that "any hint of scandal is untrue" and is "distracted" with worry by the constant press surrounding Middleton and her prolonged absence from the public eye since her surgery.
Bouzy's involvement in fueling the conspiracy theories surrounding Kate Middleton's recent sighting has added another layer to the ongoing speculation about the Princess of Wales' health and whereabouts. As the royal family prepares for Middleton's return to public duties after Easter, the public and media alike will undoubtedly be watching closely to see how the situation unfolds.
