Angelina Jolie has always been something of a solitary person, but as of late, she has been avoiding interactions with other people more than she ever has before. There is very little room in her life for anything else, and she is beginning to feel the effects of isolation as a result of her focus on her children, the legal fights she is involved in, and her work.
In the wake of her Tony Award victory, which she received last week for her role as a co-producer in the musical “The Outsiders,” Angelina is now focusing her attention on achieving even more accolades with her next film “Maria," as per NBC News.
Considering that Angelina, who is 49 years old, portrays the great opera singer Maria Callas, several experts anticipate that she will be a contender for the Oscar for Best Actress in the following year.
In contrast to the Teflon-like reputation of her ex-husband Brad Pitt, who is sixty years old, Angelina has a reputation that is less than stellar, and the fact that she does not have a large number of supporters on her side could make this situation more complicated.
“Angelina is in a weird spot right now as she gets ready to roll out this Callas movie. She’s trying to lay low while staying connected to the movie business in Los Angeles and letting people know that she is in the Oscars race this year, without appearing too cocky or arrogant. She’s proud of the movie and her work in it. But she knows she has to steer clear of her haters and the Brad Pitt loyalists she’s constantly crossing paths with as she quietly beats the drum for this movie,” an unnamed source told New Idea.
Angelina does not have a large group of well-connected A-list girlfriends who are able to assist in spreading the news about her performance, which is another reason why it is particularly difficult, according to the insider. “She has her business team and the kids, and that’s pretty much all she has to work with right now,” it went on.
Angelina is so focused on winning her second Academy Award that even entering into a new relationship seems "like a bridge too far for her," according to the insider who provided the information.
“Introducing any other variables into that equation would be a distraction. It’s been 24 years since she won for Girl, Interrupted and she’s hungry to get back in the game. She’s resigned to the fact that if she’s going to make it all the way to the Oscars, she’s basically going to be doing it alone,” the tipster furthered.
Angelina is aware that the clock is ticking, and that the moment will come soon enough when she will be alone herself, given that three of her six children have already left the nest. “That will leave Angelina totally alone and she’s absolutely dreading it more than anything,” the mole shared.
