The future royal trip that King Charles is scheduled to go on will be reduced in size; nonetheless, it is possible that he will visit the United States in order to meet his son, Prince Harry, a royal expert claimed.
A conflict between the royal family and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has been going on. During his trip to the United Kingdom in May, King Charles did not get the opportunity to meet Prince Harry.
In spite of this, royal biographer and expert Tom Quinn asserted that His Majesty might visit California in order to spend time with his youngest son and his children, Archie, who is five years old, and Lilibet, who is three years old.
"Charles has had discussions about an official visit to the United States at some time in the future, and there is no doubt if it goes ahead, he would build in time to visit his youngest son and his grandchildren, but there are mountains of planning to be overcome before that becomes even a remote possibility," Tom told The Mirror.
"King Charles has privately visited many other countries—he made an unpublished visit to Transylvania for example to check up on his rental properties—so it's certainly possible that he would make a discreet private visit to Harry and the children in California. He is desperate to see them and hates the idea that Archie and Lily will not remember him as the warm, friendly grandfather he wants to be,” he went on.
According to Tom, Prince Harry has been seeking for a new residence that is located in close proximity to his father's Highgrove estate. This comes in the wake of claims that King Charles desires to spend more time with his grandchildren.
It has been speculated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be relocating to the United Kingdom in the near future. Lizzie Cundy, a British socialite, TV personality, and the former wife of footballer Jason Cundy, suggested that if this was true, then it was an indication that "they have lost all popularity in the States."
While this is going on, it has been rumored that King Charles' journey to Australia and Samoa may be reduced in size, and it is possible that the expected trip to New Zealand will be scrapped. One of the sources who did not wish to be identified stated in a separate report to that the alterations "will be a bitter disappointment on both sides."
Treatment for cancer is still being administered on a weekly basis to His Majesty. As a matter of fact, King Charles had only recently resumed his duties as a public servant at the end of April, and the monarch made a commitment to "make up for that lost time."
On the other hand, royal historian and commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo was not taken aback by the report that his trips will be reduced in length. It was brought to his attention that the King had been quite active as of late, since he had participated in a number of public events, such as Trooping the Colour, Garter Day service, Royal Ascot, and Cartier Polo.
"His treatment has to come first and he has to obey the advice of his doctors. So it's not necessarily surprising that His Majesty is going to have to shorten and cut back what was supposed to be a two-week trip to Australia and New Zealand," Rafe told GB News.
"The trip to Australia, if these reports are correct, was going to be reduced to only six days. New Zealand to be completely omitted, which will be a great disappointment not only to His Majesty but also to New Zealanders,” he went on.
King Charles has yet to comment on the claims that he is set to pay Prince Harry a visit to the U.S. So, avid followers of the royal family should take all these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
