The relationship that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have shared is like something out of a fairytale, a new report claimed. More than a decade after first meeting as fellow coaches on “The Voice” in 2014, the couple, who recently marked their third wedding anniversary, continues to be in awe of one another.
"Gwen and Blake are doing amazing. They’re more in love than ever. It feels surreal because the time has flown by," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
Although there are those who believe that Blake and Gwen are an unexpected couple, there are others who think that it is the fact that they are different that makes them work together.
"They are the quintessential opposites-attract type of couple,” another insider said about Blake and Gwen, who "complement each other in the best ways."
"People around them didn’t understand the pairing at first, but now they see how strong the love is [between them],” the informant furthered.
The year 2025 saw the beginning of Blake and "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker dating, following their respective divorces from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale. After being married in 2021, the singer of "God Gave Me You" became a proud stepfather to Gwen and her ex-husband's three children: Kingston, who is 18 years old, Zuma, who is 15 years old, and Apollo, who is 10 years old.
Despite the fact that Blake has never had any biological children of his own, he has developed into a wonderful father figure to the lads that his wife has. During the month of June, the boys of the "Just a Girl" singer went on a vacation with their mother and other members of the Shelton family to Italy.
The "Boys 'Round Here" hitmaker, who turned 58 on June 18, celebrated his birthday with this vacation, which also served as a birthday celebration. When the mixed family went on vacation to Europe, they immersed themselves in the tourist culture by going to the Vatican Museum, seeing the Trevi Fountain, and having lunch in San Marco Square.
During the course of an afternoon gondola ride in Venice, Blake and Gwen were reportedly seen sharing a passionate kiss while sipping champagne, as per The Sun.
"They did a lot of shopping and dined at the finest restaurants, but they also relaxed and ordered room service and watched TV. They all had a blast,” the tipster stated.
Blake kept his fans up to speed with his travels when he was in Italy by sharing a photo of himself riding a bike on his birthday.
"Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody. I’ve drank so much in Italy that Gwen wanted to be sure I made it back to the hotel safely… I’m still not there though…” Blake wrote in the caption. The country icon later told his followers that he "finally found the hotel" while thanking Gwen "for the greatest birthday ever!!!!!"
In April, Gwen gladly debunked speculations that she and Blake are on the verge of a divorce. "The truth is I am in love with my best friend. And all this s**t I'm thinking of in my brain, that's all it is -- I'm overthinking," she told NYLON.
"When you're in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us. You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship -- I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something," Gwen added in reference to the divorce rumor hounding her marriage. "It's just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is."
